Value Commitments

This is a three-stage task, which aims to provide further insight about your decision to become a teacher.
Write a brief account of why you decided to become a teacher. Include your motivations and aspirations.
When you've finished, re-read your writing and identify the specific values that informed your desire to teach (for example: to inspire; to share a love of literature; to give something back to society).
Thinking back, what personal experiences or encounters contributed to the formation of these values? Write down a description of one or two specific experiences which may have influenced your reasons for becoming a teacher.
